It's So Easy Travel Insurance specialises in travel insurance for people who have pre-existing medical conditions, including when someone has or has had breast cancer. It’s very important to have specialist cover. If you don’t, you could be exposing yourself to financial risk and we receive referrals from many hospitals, doctors, clinics and medical charities throughout the UK.
What are the travel insurance implications if I have breast cancer?
If you take out a standard kind of travel insurance policy that’s not designed to include pre-existing medical conditions, there is a danger that if you needed to make a claim because of illness, the insurers might consider that there was a link with your pre-existing condition. Your claim could then be declined.
If you’ve declared your breast cancer to us and we’ve accepted it in our cover, then claims related to it (directly or indirectly) will be met.
What kind of claims would this policy cover?
A summary of cover can be found by clicking the ‘Our Insurance ’ above. In essence, you would be covered for medical expenses, cancellation, curtailment, loss of baggage and many other things.
Your travelling companions should also be covered by the same policy
We strongly recommend that anyone travelling with you should also be covered under this policy. That ensures that should you need to cancel, cut short or even extend your trip because you’re ill, your travelling companions would be able to make a claim for things like travel and accommodation expenses.
Don’t take the risk of being inadequately insured. It’s just not worth it!
